The Stress Management Workshop
The Stress Management workshop's main purpose is to help people perform more successfully and more happily under the pressures that inevitably come with having a successful career.
Stress is the number one contributing factor for both mental and physical illness, and is the major reason why business professionals 'hit the wall' or 'burn-out'. Companies and organizations literally spend and lose millions to the debilitating effects that stress has on their employees.
This workshop will provide participants with a tool kit of
practical skills and techniques that will help them with
many of the common stressful situations they experience
from day to day. It will also help the participants to
understand the research that has been done on stress;
knowing this theory helps a person to adapt the tools to
their individual situations.
Participants will learn a series of simple and effective techniques
to manage and tackle stress, which will help them to:
• Understand where things can go wrong and to work so that they can fix them
• Change the working environment to eliminate accumulations of small irritations
• Better understand negative thoughts and emotions like self-criticism, angst and fear
• How to better use rational and positive thinking
• Thrive in and enjoy challenging jobs
